Mr. Swearingen brings over 17 years of experience in property management, marketing, and leasing to his position with Ciminelli.  His areas of responsibility include:

• Oversight of all property, asset and receivership management operations
• Integration of new properties into the Ciminelli portfolio
• Property analysis and implementation of property initiatives
• Financial analysis and oversight
• Tenant relations and retention
• Acquisition and Disposition oversight

Mr. Swearingen’s wide-ranging experience includes three years as Director of Property Management and Leasing at Ciminelli Development Company, overseeing Western New York’s premier suburban office park, Centerpointe, while simultaneously managing the firm’s Florida office holdings and two of the company’s largest medical facilities, Buffalo Medical and Caritas Medical Arts facility.  Additionally, Mr. Swearingen’s background includes six years as a Senior Property Manager for RYON & Associates, Inc., responsible for over 4 million square feet of commercial real estate properties in the Greater Tampa Bay and Central Florida area.  He also worked three years with W.B. Doner Advertising, servicing clients such as Ford Motor Corp., British Petroleum and Eckerd Drugs.

As a lifelong resident of Tampa, he possesses extensive knowledge of the market and broker community.  He is a graduate of The University of Tampa, where he received a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Marketing.  Mr. Swearingen is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker, qualified BOMA, Real Property Administrator (RPA), IREM designated Certified Property Manager, (CPM) and Certified Commercial Investment Member, (CCIM).

Mr. Swearingen is actively involved in the Tampa community.  Some of his past and current activities include:
